About The Event
"Awakened Journeys: A Ketamine Retreat for Faith Transitions and Religious Healing" is a retreat that offers a compassionate haven for those on a journey of evolving beliefs. Guided by empathetic facilitators, this retreat integrates therapeutic ketamine experiences to help participants explore their spiritual shifts and religious trauma. Amidst a supportive community, attendees engage in introspective healing, fostering clarity, acceptance, and personal growth. Through shared stories and guided reflection, individuals find solace and renewed purpose on their unique paths of faith transformation. Your $500 registration fee covers food, a medical assessment and prescription, and one ketamine treatment.
Your medical screening with our nurse practitioner will determine eligibility for participation in the retreat.
Retreat Schedule (Schedule may be modified to fit needs)
*NOTE: Please don't eat anything after 7:00 am, and don't drink anything after 9:00 am.
8:00 AM: Check-in and Welcome
Participants arrive and check in. Welcome and orientation, where participants are introduced to the retreat's staff and given an overview of the day's schedule. Review of consent forms and any last-minute questions.
Brief medical screening with Nurse Practitioner. (Note: you will have a thorough medical screening and assessment with a Nurse Practitioner via Zoom before our retreat.)
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM: Introductions and Group Setting
Participants introduce themselves and share their intentions for the day. Group discussions and activities to build a sense of community and trust among participants.
9:45 AM - 10:30 AM: Preparation Phase
Education about the ketamine experience, including what to expect and safety precautions. We’ll talk about setting intentions. Breathing exercises or mindfulness meditation to prepare participants for the upcoming session.
10:30 AM - 12:15 PM: Group Ketamine Assisted Therapy Session
Administration of a carefully dosed ketamine treatment via IM (intramuscular) injection. Participants are encouraged to relax, close their eyes, and focus on their inner experiences. Facilitators monitor the session and offer support as needed.
12:15 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch
After the ketamine session, participants are encouraged to rest, refuel, and hydrate. You may also use this time for journaling or reflecting on the experience.
1:00 PM-1:30 PM: Wellness Activity
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Integration and Sharing
Group sharing session where participants have the opportunity to discuss their experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Closing Ceremony
Participants gather to reflect on the day's experiences and share their insights. Guidance on how to continue the integration process in the days and weeks following the retreat.
3:00 PM: Final Check-Out and Departure
Participants complete final evaluations. Departure from the retreat.
Please note that this schedule is a general outline, and actual timings and activities may vary depending on the specific retreat center and its offerings. Safety and the well-being of participants are paramount, so there may be adjustments as needed to ensure a positive and safe experience. Additionally, it's important for participants to arrange transportation and accommodations following the retreat. For safety reasons, participants are not allowed to drive after the retreat due to lingering effects of ketamine.
